"The ocean has always called me, so when uni didn’t seem like a good fit I decided to join the Royal Australian Navy. For a while there I was the Boarding Officer on patrol boats off Darwin and while I was there I saw a lot of illegal fishing, and some pretty ugly truths about shark finning. Shark finning is killing our oceans and it has been a part of my inspiration for the HESO range."
